Sin Hoi Sai Seafood Restaurant, located at Tiong Bahru, is the oldest restaurant in the area. Mr Sim, manager and former chef, took over the business in 1984. One of his famous skills is cooking with six pots at once – a feat difficult for even accomplished chefs to attempt.

Being well versed in aquatic habitats since childhood became the foundation for him to design and maintain all marine equipment in the restaurant. His expertise helps to greatly improve the survival rate of the seafood, and is an assurance of quality and freshness to customers.

With his staffs’ hard work, unity and cooperation, we have become one of the most well known restaurants in the area, making a modest contribution to the local gourmet food scene. With over half our staff serving us for over a decade, we are able to guarantee the consistency and quality of our dishes. We feel very satisfied seeing an old customer revisit our restaurant.

The restaurant has been featured in many travel magazines and shows such as “Food Glorious Food” and “Quan Xian Zhui Ji”. Sin Hoi Sai is also known as the “Dining Hall for Celebrities”, as it has been patronised by famous Asian celebrities for the past twenty years. These include Zhu Jun and Zhao Wei from China; Xu Nai Lin and Xiao Ya Xuan from Taiwan; Shu Qi and Yang Gong Ru from Hong Kong, F4 and 5566.
